The Orsis Ruins
You will find this spot in Uldum. To get there, simply teleport to Uldum at Ramkahen from your major city, Stormwind for Alliance and Orgrimmar for Horde. Once there, just head West and a little South and you will find it.
The mobs you will kill there are Scions of Al'Akir and Sweeping Winds. The loot you will be looking for is Volatile Air. The second type of mobs don't drop as much as the Scions, but they are good to avoid waiting.
I chose to farm air elementals because the fire ones are usually heavily camped. And this resource is still needed by crafters daily.
To make sure you get good results here, start using the spot at the minimum level of 83. It will be easy to kill them as a Rogue because they stand still a long time. So you can position yourself fairly easily. They are also spread out a lot so you won't be in danger of aggroing more than one at a time.
After around one hour of farming, depending on how fast you kill them, you can get around 30 Volatile Air. You will also make around 30 gold pieces from the trash loot and around 40 gold from the items that drop.
Selling tip:
To make the most of this Cataclysm gold farming spot, try to sell your loot during the week. The prices then are usually higher. The prices right now are pretty low during the weekend. But you will probably make around 500 gold anyway. Wait until the middle of the week and you can get around 800 gold for 30 pieces of Volatile Air.
This is the best place to farm gold in Cataclysm for a Rogue for two reasons. It is not camped most of the time and you can kill mobs one by one.
